Just Checkin' In

Hello Blog World!

I just wanted to drop a note out to anyone out there who may read this thing. We're still alive ! It's been a busy and tough week. Chad was tied up with moving and I was left battling the little gift he left me (in the form of stuffy head, runny nose and a craptastic cough) But I'm getting better and he's getting settled and the holidays are fast approaching.

I'm actually not looking forward to Christmas much this year. I can only imagine how much I'll be missing Chad and the kids and the Christmas we could be having if immigration wasn't such a pain in the bottom.

The next step of the process (besides the waiting) is the scary part for me. I would like to submit a Co-Sponsor with our application but we don't really have/know/feel comfortable asking anyone. Basically, we need an American Citizen who has held a steady job for the past few years who would agree to submitting their tax information and agreeing to be a co-sponsor in the event that Chad wouldn't be able to support me. I fully intend on working, so it's not like the person would ever have to "worry" about anything. It's really a formality. But I still feel weird asking and don't really know anyone I could. =( It causes me great stress.

It can be anyone in the entire country, non-relatives welcome - so if you're out there, have an income that is mid 20's and would be willing to do that? Holla at me. LOL!

Seriously though, it's just difficult. It's not an issue of whether or not he can afford it as he's had a steady job for over a year, gotten a promotion, etc., And I will potentially have a job with the company I work for now and some side supplementary income. It's just a peace of mind.

I'm rambling... So - Anyone out there excited about the holidays? Have any plans? I believe I'll be spending Christmas day at my brothers - although, I haven't gotten an invite yet. ha ha.
